Workforce Development (Certification Programs)

We continue to work with Harrisburg University and HACC to offer programming that suits students who wish to obtain entry level certifications connected to the health care industry and manufacturing (OSHA certifications). We will work to communicate specific program offerings with rising seniors and their parents as new opportunities are finalized for 2025-2026. In the past students have participated in the HACC EMT certificate program, the HACC STEP program and the HU - NuPaths program, as a part of their senior program of students. Please reach out to a member of the counseling staff if you have questions or interest in these types of programs.  (These programs are for students in grades 11 and 12).


At the present time we anticipate offering the following courses / programs during the 2025-2026 School Year:


COL028829 – HACC STEP Academy - Includes WorkKeys; OSHA Certification; CPR Certification; Act 158 Pathways; 3 HACC Credits

COL028830 – HACC Intro To Welding

COL03400       HU NuPaths – Intro To Information Technology - May lead to two Industry Recognized Credentials and 2 Harrisburg University Credits

COL03401        HU NuPaths – Presentational Software - May lead to two Industry Recognized Credentials and 2 Harrisburg University Credits


* Continue to look for communications from MASH for additional opportunities that may emerge during the Spring and Summer in preparation for Fall Semester. 

* These courses may be offered here at MASH or offsite, depending upon MASH enrollment numbers and program needs.

*There will be minimal to no cost for students / Families for these programs.
